The manufacturing agent
Vulcan writes manufacturing programs and runs the analysis to ensure they work.
Ask Vulcan for any manufacturing program and it writes one for you, whether that’s milling, 3D printing, laser cutting, turning or sheet metal forming. You describe the part in plain words, and you get back a program you can watch in simulation and send to the machine.
Vulcan works on the part Archimedes built, so you go from model to finished program in the same place. There is no separate CAM seat, slicer or nesting tool to open.

Vulcan starts from the model, the part Archimedes built or any STEP file you bring, and works out the stock, the material, and how the part is held, oriented and zeroed on the machine.

It picks the tools and the strategy: roughing and finishing passes for machining, orientation and supports for a print, or the sheet layout for cutting. Then it sets the feeds, speeds and order to run them in.

Vulcan runs the whole job in simulation to catch collisions and gouges, then posts the program in your machine’s dialect, ready to load on the floor.
The shift

Vulcan programs machining, 3D printing, laser and plasma cutting, turning and sheet metal forming, so you don’t run a separate package for each.

The whole job stays in the same window where the part was designed and analysed. No export to a CAM seat, no slicer, no standalone nesting tool.

You get G-code in your controller’s dialect, manufacturing drawings, cut files or flat patterns. A manufacturer can run these or feed them straight into the machine.
